The Before (First Weigh-In)

I’m trying hard to be comfortable with my body. I’ve tried the whole weight loss by hating myself thing before, and it didn’t quite work out for me. I like myself fine, but I’m just not healthy. It’s time to take care of my body instead of attempting to beat it into submission.

I weighed in for the first time today. Usually, I’ll weigh in on Mondays, but I decided to start today. I also want to post progress pictures on the first weigh-in day of every month. I’m a little uncomfortable, but I think it would be cool to see how my body changes. So, here we are:

Shout out to my awesome unicorn Pearl and the Beard tank. This was also my first time working out in my office’s gym, as I’m just not awake enough when I get home. It definitely helped vent some frustration I was having during the day, so I think I will continue taking a run/brisk walk on off days.
